The 1984 to September 2023 70 Series ran a mirror housing that stayed largely consistent across the HZJ and VDJ eras. That covers a huge installed base of vehicles still towing caravans, boats, horse floats, and work trailers across Australia. The factory mirrors on these vehicles work fine for solo driving but disappear behind the load the moment anything wider than the ute gets hitched up. The towing mirrors in this collection extend the field of view outward so the lanes beside the vehicle stay visible and the rear of the trailer is in line of sight at all times.

MANUAL, ELECTRIC, AND POWER FOLD OPTIONS

Three tiers of replacement towing mirror to suit how often you tow and your budget. Manual fold mirrors offer the cost-effective option with manual adjustment of the inboard and outboard glass. Electric indicator mirrors add electric glass adjustment and amber LED indicator strips integrated into the housing for better visibility to following traffic. Power Fold mirrors add electric folding for parking in tight spaces and heated glass for clearing rain and condensation. All three are full replacement units that swap the factory housing, giving a cleaner permanent setup than clip-on extension mirrors.

SUITS HZJ AND VDJ ERA 70 SERIES UP TO 09/2023

The pre-facelift mirror housing was shared across the 76 Wagon, 78 Troop Carrier, and 79 single cab and dual cab throughout the HZJ era (1999 to 2007) and the VDJ V8 era (2007 to September 2023). The same mirrors suit each body style with no body-specific variations needed. Wiring connections plug into the factory loom on the electric and Power Fold variants.
